How Drishti handles your data
Draft, 7 October 2026. The full policy, aligned with India's DPDP Act, comes before the public release.
What leaves your computer
- Your voice while you are talking to Drishti, to turn it into text.
- The text of the page you ask about, your request, and what Drishti says back, to decide the next step and to speak.
- Documents you ask Drishti to read, to read them aloud.
These go to Sarvam AI, an Indian company, through Drishti's relay. The relay adds Drishti's key and passes them on. It does not record, store or read them. Sarvam processes them under its own terms; checking those terms for the public release is on our list.
What stays on your computer
- Your settings: language, voice and speed.
- Your saved details, if you give them: name, age, gender and phone number, used to fill forms.
Say "delete my details" at any time and Drishti deletes your saved details.
What Drishti never does
- It never types passwords, OTPs or card numbers. You type those yourself.
- It never pays, books, sends or submits anything without your spoken yes.
- It does not sell or share your data, and it shows no ads.
Your device code
Each Drishti install gets a random code, so the relay can keep a fair daily limit per person. It is not linked to your name.
